| Description: | This time it is the turn of Knighton Baptist Church at Norton Street to host this service. The materials for the service in 2020, entitled Rise! Take your mat and walk, have been prepared by women in Zimbabwe. It is shocking to realise how difficult life is for ordinary Zimbabwean women and their families at present. All the hopes that the economy of the country would be boosted by the removal of President Mugabe have been dashed. The situation has been made even worse by a drought which has meant that food and now water are in short supply. Please pray for Zimbabwe. |

| Description: | Please notice a change of day and time for our meetings. Because of the number of church activities now held on Thursdays, we decided to meet on Tuesdays instead. The time of meeting is earlier, as so few have been staying for lunch. Our speaker will be Revd Dr Neil Richardson (and we hope floods don't prevent his coming this time) and his subject will be 'Can the church recover the gospel? Or has it never really lost it?' We finish at 12 noon, but conversation can continue informally for those who are able to stay. Tea and coffee are provided, but please bring your own sandwiches. There will be a plate for donations (£1.50 suggested) to cover the chapel's expenses. |
